New bedroom!

Not really, but we have been painting it lately. I get so excited about the final product that i get really sloppy and my poor man has to clean up after me. I am lucky that he is patient.

Just as the sun is about to leave our farm for the next three months my sunflower bloomed this week. Nevermind the three past mornings of frost, rain and gailing winds... I know it will shine on is all winter, and keep us warm and cozy.

Blue Cheese and Caviar

Lately my kids crave blue cheese and caviar on crackers.  They crack me up.  Hazel says cavi and it is just darling.  People....  Blue cheese and caviar...  can you belive it!

Lojkelsvatene hike

We had our first family hike this weekend, Lilly walked for a whole 2.5 hours to Lojkelsvaten cabin.  We had great weather on our way up.  It was windy but dry.  It started pouring as soon as we got to the cabin, and we had to walk home in sideways rain, but Lilly did great and it was good fun for the girls.  They liked the bunk beds the best!

Art school is back in session, and we kicked of the year by talking about one of my favorite artists, Andy Goldsworthy.  So we ran out in the school yard to see what we could put together as a class.  I love it and it was so fun to get the kids working together.
