SHEEP! Three of them! we got them last night and they are just fine looking livestock, if I do say so myself. Donkey did not wink when we put them out to pasture today, Flicka is really hoping that she has new playmates... We shall see... Hoping the electric fence is gonna do its wonders, we might be on some crazy escapades getting them back home if they get out... Loven IT!

hus & hem
I love interior magazines, and love to read them and then give them off to my friends to read. I like to recycle like that. I bought hus & hem the other day cus everyone in the blogging world in the US seems to link to them all the time. I figured I would give all my American readers a chance to read a real paperback issue, so here's your chance! Leave a comment and contact info in the comment link and if I pull your lucky name out of the hat I'll and send you a copy!!!
moving right along...
Its Sunday and we all seem to need to take a rest day. Its really overcast and doesn't look like a good day to paint the house. We resolved our hen house problem yesterday and got a cute little house for our feathered friends, just need a paint job and some interior decorating ;)
We also got some new chicks from a friend the other day, they seem to be settling in nicely.

ALL THE CRAZY PROJECTS...
So, I've been getting some grief for not posting for a while... Here is the explanation:
The hen house project:
We moved the chickens in the barn during a moment of crisis, but they have made a total mess in the barn. It needs to be cleaned out and they need to get a house of there own. Supposed to start this week...
Making room for the new baby, my sewing room has been moved to the annex. I love the space I have now, just need more time to unpack.
The painting the house project:
Boyfriend was bummed that I didn't take a pic of him risking his life at the top of the house... We are painting the whole house white, including the windows. The swing set/sandbox project
The field clearing and restranding fence project:We are getting three lambs sometime soon and have to restrand our fence. Also battling the weeds....
The garden project:
For a first time garden I'm thrilled! The beets, carrots, and pasternak is all coming along great. The squash, pumpkins, cucumbers were planted late and are growing slowly, but really enjoy the warm weather we have had lately!
Halter breaking Flicka project:
She is no problem at all (so far :))The garden project:
