Where to start?

See the sun!!!! its hitting both my neigbours today, bet its gonna hit our house in a few days!!!

My BFF came back from NYC and look at the goodies that she brought me!!!!!

And she also got me some knobs from Anthropologie for my knob collection! Now I can finish off my kitchen and toss these nasty suckers:

Arn't they legendary!!! I just can't get enough of the beaded flower one!

Another thing I can't get enough of is my Hazel nut, she is just too darn cute lately!

darkest before dawn

I had to do some backtracking on my blog to remember when the sun came back over the mountain and hit the farm. There are some suttle signs that spring is on its way. The hens have started laying again (those who stopped for winter) and Donkey is shedding her teddybear coat. I'm really staring to feel the energy creeping back. Don't worrie guys, I'll let you know when my good friend sun returns!

On another note, Hazel and I get to spend some quality time together this weekend and what a quality nut she is!

First off I'd like to wish my dear dad a fantastic 60th birthday! Next, I'd like to wish my little big brother a very happy 30th!!! We are sending you both lots of birthday love!

Then I'd like to talk about my BFF who is at this very moment on a plane to NYC... SO wish I could be there with her. I will be living vicariously through her every fantastic moment.

Yesterday some girls and I had a fantastic lunch at this darling little place:

I brought the leftovers home for the man:We got crazy urban and had sushi for dinner tonight:
The reality is that I have been without a car for the past 4 weeks and I [we] are getting a little moody.

To kick off the new year Ive updated my etsy shop... I know... its about time! Also cleaning up some Livestock and gonna have a GIVEAWAY!!!!!!! The end of an era

Sad day on the farm today. Our cat Siri Mor was not abel to make it through the winter. We grandfatherd the cat from the family we bought our house from. They did not want to move an older farm cat to the city. We were so lucky that they left her in our care cus she has been a fantastic cat in every way. She put up with Bingo sharing her territory, she was a mother to Lille Pus, and even when she was not feeling so great... Lilly dragging her around... not to mention she was a fantastic hunter. I have learned that animals come and go on the farm, but Siri Mor is one that will not be forgotten. She was an old wise cat and she has left us with so much joy. I was able to get these pics this past spring of Siri and Lilly, they sum up what a great cat she was!

Christmas tree shopping

This year we had a totally new christmas tree getting experience! No longer do we wait until the day before christmas to then raid the leftover trees in the La Feista parking lot... No, this year we went out in the woods and chopped it down our self!!! We had a super afternoon with friends, cowboy coffie, hotdogs and marshmellows. I'll do this again anytime!
