Festive sweater partayyyyyy!

Look at this darling little Hazel nut! She is gearing up for the evenings festivities! We had a birthday bash for boyfriends 30th. My requirement: everyone had to wear norwegian sweaters. Looked really cool until it started to get hot! We had lots of goodies to eat and good friends to eat with. Lovely!

Red green and brown

Im really into brown for christmas this year. I found some retro christmas fabrics for my pillows and really dig the brown with red and green of course. EVERYone has white now, and I love that, but you know. Have to swim against the streem. So here are my pillows and all my other pynt. bet you geussed that the three wise men are my fav?

so long sun

so the sun has left the farm for the winter. I can see where it hits futher down the mountain, but we will be in the shade for the next three months. so what do I do now you ask? i started yoga again after moving to the farm -HALELUJA! why did i wait so long? decked the halls and realized i needed more christmas stuff so i have been sewing christmas pillows like mad! made a study up on our landing. its really cozy. tweaking on the girls rooms. always tweaking. saving hazel from her sistermonster. enjoying the long dark breakfasts with lilly. trying to remember to take pictures of hazel before she is a teenager. taking lilly on ponyrides (she giggles everytime donkey trots).

Lilly is trying to tie her new shoes, it was really funnie to watch. This dress was either mine or my sisters, it is SO cute on Lilly!

Here is sweet Hazel in her undershirt. She is not easy to photograph as the flash gives her that wild eye look... This shot does more justice to her sweet little face.

we stayed inside all day beacause the weather was just too wonderful. I got out some dress ups that I have been collecting at triftstores. the green number is just too much, don't you just love how much lilly hates this dress. it cracks me up.

soccer mom norway style

today was a planning day at the school and kindergarden so a neigbour suggjested to take the kids to a beach near our house and have a bonfire. It was so much fun and the kids loved it and we grilled hotdogs and drank hot chocolate. lilly got all burnt out and hazel slept in her stoller the whole time.

Go DONKEY Go!

Last Saturday our local horse club had a training session for horse and wagon. Donkey and I, or I rather decided that we had to get our feet wet and start to get serious with this driving stuff... Let me just say that I am so proud of Donk!!! She did fantastic and I had lots of fun and learned so many new things... as I have spent my whole horse life on top of a horse and not behind one... Donk sped around the course as if she was a pro and seemed to love the challange! Silly me forgot my camera, but the club send me this pic.

yes, refering to large bags under eyes... me infront of my stuff at the show. now i have to go into production mode to get ready for christmas! lets just get used to the bags... and who told lilly that she had to start wakeing up at 0600 hours when she got a lil sis? we had such a good agreement before...

Fretex!

The Bolig Forum is lots of fun and Fretex has a great stand! I love working with the other artists there and will post pictures as soon as I get my camera cord! Happy Birthday Me!

im not a big party giver, so partys for myself i think would turn out really lame, so ill party like its 1979 (or 78 in my case) om my blog, and just talk about the most fantasic fascinater i bought myself on etsy. got it yesterday in the mail and love everything about it right down to the gift wrapping it came in. run dont walk!

Bolig Forum!

We are off to set up at the bolig foum tomorrow. Fretex has a huge stand and four artists that are upcycling furniture and fabric. I have a childrens bed, pillows, clocks and my livestock displayed. I hope that I can inspire other people to reuse and or upcycle things around them. I am also closing down my etsy shop until the forum is over, if you see something in the shop you like, I will be selling them there this weekend. please come and see us!
