october, really?

what is going on? i cant keep up where is the time going. i can't belive it is october and im almost 31 geezzzzz. Anyway, i am pleased as punch. the sun came out today and all sorts of fun stuff happend. the rainbow in our front yard. the hens sunning themselvs. flicka being feisty and siri droped this critter off on my doorstep. i have no idea what it is? any wildlife guros out there that can enlighten me? and to top it off, im just loving this headband i got for hazel which i got here

FALL, SAY WHAT????

Wow, that summer went by fast... My poor garden, suffering from me not weeding when I was super preggers cus of heartburn and well.... the massive rain we have had. My poor veggies are rotting before they are ripe. I am super proud about my garden though, and have learned allot and have lots of good new tips so gonna start hardcore next spring! My darling Hazel is doing great! She has a diffent start on life compared to Lilly... You see, Lilly is giving her a run for her money. Big sisters beat up the little ones, even when they are not trying to. Also finished Hazels quilt!
